tragic that i won't be able to make it next year. this year's maf was fucking awesome, probably had the best decor amongst the 4 years of maf that i've been to. the dangling lights from the 3rd floor outside the readingroom was something new, they had that neat flashing star thing, and the dragon just outdid all the other centrepieces. i heard they fucking sewed it up. must've taken a lot of effort.

since we did it last year, its become tradition that we fire confetti off during the grand light up, so everyone cheers for it assuming it was planned by council. this year we had 5 cannons as opposed to last year's 1, but we had less cheering, which was disappointing. i blame it on the general reduced turnout this year. it seems they couldn't even fill the entire that-thing-in-the-centre-that-i-shall-refer-to-as-the-parade-square.

lamentably, we forgot to pray to chang er this year as bj the cb ran off with all our sparklers. and because i was feeling rather down at having to book in IMMEDIATELY after maf for guard duty, i didn't participate in the sing and dance sessions, which i thought were rather docile this year anyway. we used to have that random spontaneous, running through the crowds choo-choo-train style (hands on the shoulders of the guy in front.)

and at the end of the day, because of chenghao's poor organisational skills, everyone just ended up standing around in the parade square, instead of heading off somewhere for supper. and from what i hear, no one went for supper anyway. now everyone, join me in pointing at chenghao and having a collective laugh at his expense. HAHAHAHA.

random observations:
1) ny girls really like their school uniform.
2) hot chicks were very absent.
3) the females in our junior class have better taste in footwear.
