hellooo!
I'm getting quite used to london now, liking it here! :) lol i changed my mind quite fast huh. Remember hating it the first few days. :P

Wonder how i'm surviving the food, dust, smoke, weather and water! haha but i'm still alive, so, i guess my tolerance has improved...

Lectures started proper this week, though some are still intro. I had pharmacology lect today, and we covered nervous systems in an hour. Good thing we learnt those in As before, so i wasn't that lost. But I've kinda forgotten half of it. :P My first semester would be mostly revision stuff, cos the students are of diff qualifications. Some are doing their second degree, so they must really ahead of most of us freshies in certain topics!

Anyway, pharmacy is so much more defined in UK. Esp the community pharmacists, it's not just NTUC or Watsons or Guardian aunties. (btw, 65% of graduates go to community pharmacy.) They deal with so much more patient contact and actual consultations. And I'll get to see how things work in an actual pharmacy during my lessons (the subject's called pharmacy practice)! haha cool huh. I'm quite sure I made a right choice. :) Ah. It's so tempting to stay here and work! :\ haha i already know i'll really miss london when i have to leave in 5 years time. too early to be thinking of this eh. :P

My timetable... it's different every week. For the first 2 weeks, it's quite slack, after that, it's 9am lectures and long long days. But early lectures don't bother me that much. Cos i stay just 3 min away from my sch. lol. It's really convenient. Can go back during long breaks! Saves a lot of transport money too.

As for pple, i've been mixing around with mostly sporeans, hk, asians... There's little interaction with the others still, except meeting the person sitting next to you during lect. haha maybe it'll be better when tutorials and seminars begin. Those in my hall, i don't really hang out with them so much either... though i know i can just find them down in the bar if i want to. :P ophs. haha but they are all nice pple lah.

okayy, gtg! take care in spore. heard about the bad haze. and those who are going, have lots of fun at maf!! relive the hwa chongian days.
